We dive deep into what truly keeps people safe, exploring real alternatives to police presence, surveillance, and criminalization. Participants will examine the history of policing, the impact of systemic violence on marginalized communities, and the role of community-based safety systems. Through discussion, strategy labs, and scenario planning, you’ll leave equipped with actionable tools to design and implement grassroots safety plans in your schools, neighborhoods, and networks.
